This holiday, Buddha’s Day, Workers’ Day, and Children’s Day overlapped, so I could rest for 7 consecutive days. On the first holiday, Buddha’s Day, I went to Jukdo Market and bought a live yellow croaker before I went home.
I arrived at the station near my house by ktx, and upon arrival, I stopped by a supermarket and bought a bunch of food to eat during the holidays.
I watched my grandmother put the radish kimchi, but I couldn’t learn anything because she made food using her feeling.
This is a flour paste used to make radish kimchi. While my grandmother was grooming the fish’s intestines, I went with my aunt to feed the cat on the roadside.
I don’t know if this guy is welcoming food or welcoming his aunt. However, the cat turns away after eating.
This cat lives inside a sewer. Good people sometimes put boxes or food around.
This cat lives in front of the apartment.
I came home and prepared dinner. The dinner menu is beef and golbaeng-i(whelk) bibimyeon.
We also prepared pickled green onions to eat with beef. It was a fantastic taste. I referenced Baek Jong-won’s recipe on the Internet, but he must be a genius. Thank you Baek Jong-won!
And the yellow croaker I bought at Jukdo Market was very plump and juicy. I tried it with grilled fish, but the taste was excellent. It melts gently!
Below are the shabu-shabu and potato wares (my favorite) I had during the holidays.
And this is the last meal filled with grandmother’s love, including steamed eggs!
This is a Korean eggplant salad! Rice Thief!!!
I also had Samgyetang, my soul food, with my grandmother.
